Seminar: Administration and responsibility – how the city administration cooperated in National Socialist crimes

The seminar takes a look at the structure and working of the Munich city administration during the Nazi dictatorship. Besides historical knowledge, with a tour of key places of remembrance in the city the seminar also examines how the city authority faced up to and dealt with the historical legacy. The participants consider questions of loyalty, the room to manoeuvre individuals had, and responsibility. Historical and current conditions in public administration are compared and discussed.

Target group: trainees and employees in the public service
For up to 15 persons (larger groups are split)
Duration: full day from 9 am to 5 pm
